GTA Workshop: Planning and Prioritizing as a GTA

Workshop Description

Designed with Graduate Teaching Assistants in mind, this hands-on workshop will provide actionable strategies for managing competing demands and making intentional choices about how to use your time.

Participants will leave this workshop with an individualized schedule that breaks down time for teaching responsibilities, student work, and other important commitments. We’ll also explore strategies for planning ahead, prioritizing tasks, and recognizing when it’s time to adjust your approach to avoid feeling overwhelmed.

Facilitator: Katrina Stewart, Senior Engaged Teaching Scholar
