WVU Evansdale Campus, Morgantown
Location: Evansdale Library, Room G01
The Teaching and Learning Center’s location on the ground floor of Evansdale Library serves as a convenient meeting space for workshops and one-on-one consultations with those teaching near the Evansdale Campus. This space includes an active learning classroom that can also be reserved by departments who support faculty development efforts across WVU (e.g., teaching-focused workshops for instructors, graduate teaching assistants, and instructional staff). WVU Institute of Technology, Beckley
Location: Learning Resource Center, Room 324
The Teaching and Learning Center location in Beckley was established to help achieve our teaching and learning mission while serving the specific needs of the instructors on the WVU Institute of Technology campus. Our main overall goal is to promote teaching excellence and student success by providing teaching support and resources for all instructors. We collaborate with campus partners to assist instructors in enhancing their teaching in any modality and deepening student learning. The Faculty Development Center was established to provide a dedicated space for professional development activities related to teaching and learning. We hope to utilize this space more to encourage collaboration and for peer sharing activities. It is housed in Learning Resource Center 324 in the same building as the cafeteria, on the 3rd floor across the hall from Engineering Department and IT staff offices. WVU Potomac State College, Keyser
Location: Shipper Library, Active Learning Center Room G6
The Teaching and Learning Center location in Keyser promotes excellence in teaching by providing WVU Potomac State College faculty with accessible and meaningful ongoing professional development, pedagogical assistance, learning technologies, and best practices in teaching and learning and student success. We work with all partners on the Potomac State College campus to assist instructors to further develop as reflective practitioners and innovators in enhancing their teaching in a broad spectrum of modalities to deepen student learning. We work in collaboration across three campuses to bring evidence-based approach to teaching career support and advancement. The primary point of contact for this location is Vicki Huffman.
