Course re/Design Studio

The Course re/Design Studio is a two-day signature program from the WVU Teaching and Learning Center. Instructors work diligently on their course in a structured studio environment as they are guided through a series of activities, tasks, and opportunities for feedback.

While the aim of this program is to support those who are in need of a substantial revision of an existing course, participants may select either a course in need of a redesign or a brand new course. The Course re/Design Studio supports participants through the creation of course learning outcomes, student assessment and grading criteria, and sequencing of instruction for the semester -- ensuring each piece of the course is aligned for student success.

We take a studio approach to our program, meaning that participants will benefit from both structured activities and time for individual work. Participants leave with a syllabus and an outline of their planned course activities. This is a great way to get a jump start on your course for a future semester. One-on-one consultations will be made available after the program has concluded for those who would like continued support.
