Plan-Do-Study-Act Cohort
This program is designed to help you explore, experiment, and reflect on your teaching practice in a practical, evidence-informed, and time-manageable way. Instructors will work through short, focused Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycles (4–5 weeks each). Each cycle targets a specific teaching challenge of your choice and is supported by resources, coaching, and light-touch data collection (such as mid-semester student feedback, engagement tracking, or grade trends). A template will be provided that instructors complete at their convenience, followed by a one-hour initial meeting with to get started.
Why Join?
- Practical and manageable: Short cycles allow meaningful experimentation without overburdening your schedule.
- Collaborative and cross-disciplinary: Share ideas, successes, and challenges with colleagues across campus.
- Produce evidence-based artifacts to strengthen your annual reviews, promotion portfolios, and scholarly teaching goals.
