Community on Implementing Active Learning Strategies
Faculty members and instructors of WVU Potomac State College were invited to join a community on implementing active learning strategies. This community explored proven techniques that could be easily implemented and have the potential to enhance engagement, comprehension, application, and critical thinking in their classrooms. Each participant conducted detailed research on a chosen strategy thought to be well suited to a particular content area or discipline. The strategy was implemented in a course during the fall 2025 semester. Participants discussed their chosen strategy, shared a description of the content, their methods of implementation, and the results.
