The Teaching and Learning Center will periodically announce calls for opportunities available to those within the WVU community, including fellowships, associates and committee members. Those interested in contributing to the center’s programming are encouraged to propose an event.

The Teaching and Learning Center’s Advisory Group meets monthly via Zoom. Faculty and student representatives provide direction and recommendation for the Center’s growth, program offerings, annual conference, and suite of services.
We are seeking additional faculty members from across WVU to join the advisory group for the 2024-2025 academic year. (We are not seeking additional student representation at this time.)

Provost Faculty Fellow & Faculty Director of the WVU Teaching and Learning CenterThe Teaching and Learning Center and the Office of the Provost is soliciting an
open call to the Faculty of West Virginia University for a Provost Faculty Fellow
to serve as the
Faculty Director of the Teaching and Learning Center. Reporting to the Administrative
Director of the Teaching and Learning Center, the Provost Faculty Fellow will
work closely with Center personnel and the Center’s Advisory Group to shape our
mission and vision for supporting teaching across WVU.
The Teaching and Learning Center Advisory Group will begin the review of applications
on November 1, 2024. The selected fellow will be informed in December. The first
one-year term of the Fellowship will begin in January 2025. Information on this
