All proposals must adhere to the proposal templates provided below.
-
We have applied a standardized style to the proposal template for uniformity
within the published conference proceedings.
As a small group of volunteers, we ask that you please do not change the template so we can typeset your final manuscript quickly. -
Your conference proposal, if accepted, becomes your published conference paper.
We have streamlined the proposal process so you can easily transition your project from a proposal to a pre-formatted conference paper. You will receive requests for revisions, and will have time to make these revisions, during the peer review period. -
We have made the templates digitally accessible, and the template has been
appropriately tagged.
The last page of your template provides information on how to use Tables, Images, and Headings. The WVU ITS Help Desk provides support for Microsoft Word. -
We have set the document to remove your personal information.
Proposals must be blinded upon submission for distribution to our peer reviewers. Ensure no identifying information appears within the manuscript itself or the document properties. -
Proposals must be submitted in .docx format as native Microsoft Word documents.
We must receive your document in .docx format to streamline our peer review and editorial process. If you convert your file to a cloud document, you may lose our styles and formatting in the template. -
Proposals utilize APA 7 format with a hanging indent.
The template has been preformatted with a hanging indent for you. The Proceedings of the 2027 Scholarly Teaching Conference at West Virginia University uses APA 7 style.
