Instructional Design & Technology – IDT

TLC Faculty that advise and teach IDT
Other members of the TLC faculty play a role in advising and teaching foundational courses in research, family and child development, social and cultural foundations, and educational psychology.

Master’s IDT Program
A master’s level IDT degree is designed for those interested in the design, use, and evaluation of technology in any educational setting. Major features of the program include a blended course delivery in educational psychology, instructional technology, and program evaluation. The program is moving towards 100% online delivery.

EdD Doctoral IDT Program
The Ed.D. program is designed to allow a graduate to immediately apply knowledge and skills to pragmatic needs in any educational setting, particularly for those interested in teaching and conducting research in a university environment. Knowledge and skill-building are designed into the courses and address three areas of competency, including Interconnectivity, Instructional Design, and Software-Multimedia Design. We encourage a student’s research to address the pragmatic needs of students, programs, and institutions.
